After consulting with our team, we have decided to close both our stores and website on Friday, January 30th during the national general strike. And while a closure does present an inconvenience for some, it’s nothing compared to what the victims of ICE have been subjected to. Dragged away from their homes, their jobs, and their families. Being forced to pay the ultimate price for standing up for what they believe in. We oppose ICE. We oppose this administration. We oppose the horrors they continue to inflict on immigrant communities throughout our country and the people standing up to it. We support the right to protest and the right to protect our friends, families, and neighbors. We have watched Minneapolis do this at great cost. Some paying with their lives. In the alternative/gothic community, it’s not considered radical to walk your truth. Our team lives every day wearing their truth, holding up their beliefs, and supporting their community. We thank them for their kindness, compassion, and their willingness to stand up for what they believe in.
